Most partnerships start with a 30-minute conversation about where you are, where you want to be, and whether embedded design judgment can help you get there.
Before we talk
This works best if you have a product that exists, even if it’s rough. A live app, a deployed prototype, a repo with a running dev server. The more I can see and use before our call, the faster we move from conversation to decisions.
Come with a sense of who your product is for and what you want it to feel like. You don’t need a brand strategy deck. “We’re replacing [X] and we want to feel more serious than they do” is plenty.
What to expect
1. Discovery call (30 minutes)
Discussion about your product, team structure, and current challenges. Questions about your goals, timeline, and what kind of design leadership would be most valuable. This is a conversation, not a pitch - focused on understanding if this is the right fit.
2. Proposal (2-3 days)
If it makes sense to work together, a straightforward proposal outlining approach, timeline, and investment. Whether it's a defined project or ongoing fractional partnership, you'll know exactly what to expect.
3. Kick-off (Week 1)
Working together starts. Embedded with your team, meeting key stakeholders, and beginning to tackle the challenge. No long onboarding processes – just focused collaboration from day one.

How long do projects typically last?
Initial projects range from 2-6 months depending on scope. Many clients then transition to ongoing fractional partnerships with monthly retainers for continued strategic guidance and hands-on work as needed.
What does it cost?
€1,080 per day, typically a few days a month. Scope and cadence depend on where your product is and what you need.
Remote or on-site?
Primarily remote with occasional on-site collaboration when valuable. Embedded in your team's communication tools (Slack, etc.) and regular meetings, making distance irrelevant for day-to-day collaboration.
What if we're not ready for a full project?
Some clients start with a strategic workshop or design audit (1-2 weeks) to clarify direction before committing to a larger engagement. Discussion about what makes sense for your stage is part of the discovery call.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, absolutely. Most client work is under NDA, which is why the case studies on this site are high-level.
